Nightime soap opera. The TV network sends Hank Zaret to be news director of station WNDY (know as WIOU to the staff). The news co-anchors are Neal Frazier and Kelby Robinson. Eddie Bock is an ambitious black reporter, Taylor Young is a reporter, Liz McVay is the executive producer, Ann Hudson is a field producer who is dating Rick Singer, Willis Teitlebaum is a news intern with a crush on Ann Hudson and Marc Adamson is a cameraman.
