All Is Forgiven (1986) TV series

Paula Russell accomplishes two feats in one day. First she marries Matt Russell, a donut executive, who has a teenage daughter, Sonia. She also starts a new job as a producer of a TV soap opera. The other characters on the show are all associated with the TV soap opera.

I love Shawnee Smith, always funny. Look for a young Christina Applegate in episode 5.
